Project details
This project aims to enhance 2BeZero’s SEO, user experience, and visual identity. The website will basically have a complete visual and thematic overhaul. Key improvements include adding more visual elements such as images, optimizing content based on the SEO analyses long-tail keywords, and refining meta descriptions and titles for better search visibility. Design updates involve a third call-to-action color, improved typography, and integrating the ‘How It Works’ page into the homepage. These changes will strengthen online presence, improve search rankings, and create a more engaging user experience, driving higher conversions in the CO2 compensation market.
Target Audience
Target audience can be divided into two groups. First are buyers such as businesses and individuals seeking to offset their carbon footprint through verified CO2 compensation projects. Second group is Sellers, organizations and project developers offering carbon offset solutions and removables, looking to connect with environmentally conscious buyers. This dual-sided marketplace facilitates meaningful transactions between those aiming to reduce their environmental impact and providers of sustainable solutions.
Creativity and Innovation
The design targets environmentally conscious individuals and businesses, typically aged 25-55, who prioritize sustainability. They are tech-savvy, urban-based, and value transparency in carbon offset solutions. Tailoring the platform to their lifestyle and preferences enhances engagement and effectiveness.

According to the SEO analyses there are certain keywords that are more likely to appear in search results. I made certain to incorperate it as much as possible within the design.
I took a bit of an unusual approach and used a 12 grid layout. The amount of elements used made me want to be more detailed and precise in the creation of a design.
These are some of the earliest conceptualization that I had come up with. I figured the grassland and animal imagery invokes the green and environmental friendly themes that is usually associated with it. As you can see it slowly started to take the shape that eventually became the final design.

Much like the hero designs the initial design was something a lot more barebone and simplistic, however it became clear that it lacked any real identity or charm. It was essentially the Toyoto Corolla of UI design, safe and reliable but ultimately without much inspiration. The visualization of the thought process should speak for itself.
